Jordan Scott

Board Member

M. Jordan Scott is a community advocate and investor in Austin, TX. He is President of 512 Asset Management, a real-estate focused family office. He previously worked as Senior VP of Tracking at Control Risks, a London-based global security consultancy. He joined the company when they acquired Flightlock, Inc., a startup he co-founded to provide tracking software for corporate travelers. Early in his career, Jordan help start Lonestar Capital Management, an Austin-based hedge fund, and worked for his grandfather, George Kozmetzky, on economic development in the Rio Grande Valley.

Jordan formerly served on the board of the RGK Foundation and is passionate about philanthropy focused on housing for at-risk families and young adults. He currently serves on the Planning and Zoning committee for the City of Rollingwood, the Board of Directors at Upbring, and is a member of Philanthropy Advocates, a Collaboration with Educate Texas.

Jordan graduated from Colorado College with a bachelor’s in Economics. He recently earned his master’s in Human Dimensions of Organizations from University of Texas, fulfilling his lifelong dream of being a Longhorn. He enjoys camping with the Scouts, wake surfing, and skiing with his three sons and wife Laila.
