Miriha Austin

Miriha Austin is the Program Associate for the Reissa Foundation’s California based grantmaking. Her favorite part of the job is using her lived experience as a way to forge genuine connections between Reissa and community-based organizations. Miriha utilizes words in multiple practices to connect and educate through conversations and activations, challenging societal standards and conditions.

A common thread within her work is an intention to uplift and progressively impact historically underserved and underrepresented communities, with a spotlight on the youth. She achieves this by lending her skills as a cultural curator and community organizer for the community in which she lives and works.

Additionally, Miriha is an interdisciplinary artist, and she enjoys leveraging that skill to inform her work at the Reissa Foundation.
